| About | Tonya Jean Busbee (1983 - 2017) On March 28, 2017 Tonya and Rhi went to be with their Lord. Although those left behind to grieve their loss don't understand, we know that Rhi and Tonya are with Jesus our Lord and Savior, walking the streets of Glory. Tonya Jean Busbee, born February 22, 1983, passed away on March 28, 2017. She is survived by her father, Jimmy Busbee of Jacksonville, AR, mother, Rita (Donald) Stricklin of Bremen, AL, brother, Tim (Rachel) Busbee of Gardendale, AL, nieces, Shimaiya, Jade, Allie, Keondra and Mariah Busbee, nephew, Nathan Busbee, step-brother, Donny (Lorrie) Stricklin, nephew, Brennen Stricklin, niece, Hannah Stricklin, step-brother, Danny (Carla) Stricklin, nephews, Noah and Austin Stricklin, step-sister, Devan (Brian) Ponder, nephew, Joshua Ponder, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and extended family. Tonya went to be with our Lord with her daughter, Rhianna Jean Busbee, born October 14, 2003. She was a seventh grade student at Cold Springs High school and was in the Cold Springs High School Marching Band. Rhianna was also survived by great-grandmothers, Johanna Chryssoverges and Bobbie Hopkins, and grandparents, Godfrey (Diane) Chryssoverges, and step-sister, Ashley, Natalie and Tiffany Bowman. Both mother and daughter loved art, singing, dancing and playing in the rain. Services will be held at Ryan's Creek Baptist on April 1, 2017 at 2 p.m. with visitation from 12-2.
