| About | Mobile police said James A. Pierceall Jr., 21, of Axis was killed about 11 p.m. Thursday when the vehicle he was driving left Cottage Hill Road, struck a tree and burst into flames. Pierceall was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer, Officer Eric Gallichant, a Mobile police spokesman, said today in a news release. "Traffic accident investigators believe speed is a possible factor in this incident," Gallichant said. "Investigators will await toxicology results from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences to determine if alcohol or drugs were also a factor." |
