BEENE, GORDON, JR., age 49, of Gulf Shores, AL, died November 23, 2003. He attended Auburn University, and was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He was a graduate of UAB. He was a Manufacturer's Representative in the furniture industry for many years in Georgia and Alabama. He was also past President of the Georgia Furniture Travelers Association and an avid fisherman. He was a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 26, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Dr. Neal Schooley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Survivors: parents, Ruth and Gordon Beene; brother, Graham Beene. The family requests memorials be made to your favorite charity. Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood. |
