NARKATES, JAMES LARRY “JIMMY”, age 46, of Vestavia Hills, died Saturday, August 26, 2000. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 30th, at Ridouts Valley Chapel with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 at Valley Chapel. Mr. Narkates in preceded in death by his father, James Leonard Narkates and by his grandparents, Isola N. Farrar, George W. Jones and Roxie Anna Jones of Carroll County, FA. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Mitchell of Sterrett; mother, Laurene Roberts and husband, Archie; sister, Nancy Powell; nephew, Stephen Powell; and niece, Ashley Powell, all of Birmingham. Mr. Narkates was a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood and was a graduate of Shades Valley High School. Services under the direction of Ridouts Valley Chapel in Homewood directing. |
