Janet Blake Brewer age 60, of Greenwood, Indiana, peacefully passed away September 16, 2014. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 22, 1954 to William Howell Blake and Doris Hitt Blake. Janet trained and worked as a Dental Hygienist in Birmingham and later as a Dental assistant in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her Father. Janet is survived by her Mother, Doris Hitt Blake; stepchildren, Joseph Brewer (Kristy) their sons William and Samual; Jeffery Brewer (Tonya) their daughter Keri; brothers, Norman Wade Blake (Barbara) and Richard Warren Blake; sister, Kathryn Blake Lester; niece, Kimberly Ann Lester; nephew, William Michael Lester and many loving friends and extended family. The family recommends that memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice in Janet's name. Her Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel followed by a visitation until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. |
