He was part of several other bands through the years including: Split the Dark, Groove Daddy, and Soul Commission. Marc's love for the Lord Jesus Christ began to grow and mature in the 90's and because of that love, Marc became part of the worship teams of some of the local churces. In 2004, Marc was diagnosed with throat cancer. Throughout Marc's battle with cancer and treatments, the Lord healed him and radically changed his life. Marc wrote a song called “Pouring It Out On Me.” This song is believed to be the best song Marc has ever written and his passion for the Lord can be found in the lyrics.
