| About | Robert Eric “Deannie” Moore was born November 15, 1952 in Leeds, Alabama to the late Esther V. and Robert N. Moore. At an early age Robert confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Robert graduated from Shades Valley High School and served in the U.S. Air Force as an air carpentry specialist. As a skilled craftsman, Robert was owner and operator of Deannie's Home Improvement. Robert also enjoyed photography and was a passionate musician who was proficient with saxophone, bass guitar, and keyboard. Later, he relocated to Orlando where he was united in holy matrimony to his high school sweetheart, Eyvonne, in the summer of 2013. He became a devoted member of the Greater Trinity Baptist Church where he sang praise to God in the choir. In 2016 Robert battled with leukemia and in 2018 he won the fight with a remission diagnosis. Late in the evening of February 17, 2020 the Lord, in His infinite wisdom, called Robert home to rest his weary body. Two brothers preceded him in death: Ronnie Sr. & George. Robert leaves to cherish his memory: His loving wife, Eyvonne, devoted Son, Sir Robert (Casey), and daughter, Audrey; 4 grandchildren, one brother, Albin (Elaine), Aunt “Billie” Elona, Uncle Carver (Maxine), and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. |
