| About | He lived in Flagstaff most of his early life, where he attended Marshall Elementary, Flagstaff Jr High and Flagstaff High School. He then attended Northern Arizona University where he received his bachelor's degree in education and later taught at East Flag Jr High. While teaching, he married his wife Karen of 41 years. They owned and operated JD Winn Service station and Ugly Duckling Rent A Car until 1986 when they moved to Phoenix Arizona to begin his successful career as an agent for American Family Insurance. Manny always maintained a special affection for Flagstaff and would continually return to visit his many friends and family. Survivors include his wife Karen DeMiguel of Phoenix, sons Chad (Melissa) DeMiguel; Dylan (Mackenzie) DeMiguel and daughter Mikel Anne (Dave) Arnce all of Phoenix. Sister Yvonne Greer of Winslow, Lyndella (Stephen) Bauchman of Challis, Idaho; sister Anita DeMiguel Lacy of Scottsdale; 3 grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Annie DeMiguel. |
