Big Al was born on July 29, 1966 in Florence to Gary L. Lamb & Virginia Lamb. He was a lovable person with a big heart always smiling. Al never really had any enemies. He was a member of the Florence Gopher baseball team that won State Championship in 1985 & was voted Most Valuable Player on the football team at Florence High School in 1985. He loved fast cars & boat racing. He loved skiing behind his dad's boat called "Who's Next". He also skied in the canal with his friends (which scared mom to no end). He was an avid Arizona Diamondback fan, like hunting with his brother Gary & camping with family & friends. Also played slow-pitch softball with brother. Loved going to concerts with big brother Charles. He loved playing & teasing his nieces & nephews. He has left his family & friends with many loving memories. A rose may lose its bloom, but still the fragrance lingers long, A bird may fly away, Yet we can still recall its song. So when someone like Big Al who is loved departs to join the Lord above, They'll live & laugh & be with us in memories of love. Big Al, you are missed so much. 1966-2002 |
