| About | Bobbi JoAnn Holland, 47, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ April 5, 2016. JoAnn was born May 3, 1968 in Antioch, CA. She is the sister of Desarae (Todd) Roark and aunt to Amos and Gabrielle Roark (Conway), daughter of Ottis (“Jerry”) Gerald Holland and late Gay Norris Holland (Heber Springs, Arkansas); granddaughter of the late Amos and Ora Norris, Uncle Joe Norris (Oakely, CA), three maternal aunts, several cousins residing in northern CA, Idaho, and South Dakota, Wade Paslay of Marathon, FL and the Elvis Paslay family of Floral, AR. JoAnn is survived by her sons Jesse Cannon (22) and Conrad Cannon (18) of Grass Valley, CA, her dad, and her sister. JoAnn epitomized compassion and love for all things living, and daily reflected God’s love through her many acts of kindness. She loved deeply and was fierce where her loved ones were involved. She loved the outdoors and being in nature. JoAnn completed two years high school at Heber Springs and graduated Liberty Union in Brentwood, CA in 1986. Vocationally, JoAnn worked as a veterinary assistant, title clerk, Registered Dental Assistant, and for the last 11 years as homemaker and caregiver for her sons and dad in Grass Valley. Burial arrangements were made in Grass Valley and a memorial service celebrating JoAnn’s life is being planned for this summer. Published by Log Cabin Democrat from Apr. 10 to Apr. 17, 2016. |
