About Lynnette Adele Files, the daughter of Jackson Glenn Crannell and Virgia Louise Orr Crannell, was born in Dallas, Texas on April 8, 1949 and passed away at Heber Springs, Arkansas on October 18, 2022 at the age of 73 years.

Lynnette was a retired kindergarten teacher for the Heber Springs School System having taught over 30 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Heber Springs and served her church in faithful and numerous ways.

Among her church service ministries which are vast were United Methodist Women, Wesleyan Circle (sponsor of our school’s Senior Breakfast), Shoe Project, Explorer’s Bible Study, providing transportation to doctor appointments, baking cookies, usher, church treasurer, new building campaign committee, and serving on our Condolence Ministry Team.

She loved traveling and gardening, helping others and playing games.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackson Glenn Crannell and Virgia Louise Crannell, her husband Terry Files, and her two sons Taf Files and Glenn Files. Survivors are her sister Patsy Rogers and husband Chuck of Marrietta, Georgia and Owen Crannell and wife Candi of Peoria, Arizona, nieces and nephews: Nicole Ortiz and family, Joshua Weems and family, Summer Boyd and family, Zach Crannell and family, Ben Crannell and MacKenzie Friday and family, other cousins, family and many friends.

A visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church in Heber Springs on Saturday, October 22, 2022 starting at 3:00 PM and funeral services will be at the church at 4:00 PM by Rev. Tommy Toombs. Burial will be in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.

The family requests memorials be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, or to First United Methodist Church of Heber Springs.
