About | Brian Clawson Obituary Feb. 7, 1953-Mar. 21, 2014 Resident of Indianola, WA - formerly of Santa Clara, CA Musician, entrepreneur, sailor, pilot but most importantly, a dear friend to many, our Brian passed away suddenly in his home at the age of 61. Growing up in Santa Clara, Ca, Brian early on exhibited superior electronics knowledge, from building one of the first guitar "Talk Boxes" made popular later by Peter Frampton, to laser systems and early computers. Moving away from California in the early 80's, Brian settled in the Seattle area where he started his medical billing software company, Seasoft. He loved the Pacific Northwest and Pennsylvania, where he had so many friends and family. And everyone Brian met became part of his extended family. He was able to turn any pleasure or business trip into an adventure, always finding a place to visit that was music/guitar influenced. We can hear Brian jamming somewhere with Jerry Garcia, Jimi Hendrix, Duane Allman and Rory Gallagher. Check http://memorialwebsites.legacy.com, type in Brian's name for his website to see dates and locations for memorials in Santa Clara and Seattle. Our thoughts and prayers are with Heidi and his beloved dogs, Jimi and Lucy. Brian is survived by his wife Heidi, his parents Merle and Marilyn (Santa Clara, CA) and his brother Dennis, sister-in-law Tamara and niece Caroline (San Jose, CA) and brother Garry and his fiancé Linda Sheley (Milford, OH) - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/mercurynews/obituary.aspx?pid=170408377#sthash.ZNZnag3K.dpuf |
