About | Janet Gail Barrietua Birth: October 4, 1951, Boise, Ada County, Idaho Death: July 15, 2011, Chico, California "Let me tell you about a woman that I am very proud to have known. That woman is my mother Janet Peterson. She was an extremely tender and compassionate person. Always full of life and touched others wherever she went. Her love for everyone was always apparent. GOD’S Love for her is now fulfilled. She was born in Boise, Idaho to her mother Gloria Mae Evans and father Joseph Barrietua on October 4, 1951. She had nine brothers and sisters who are very dear to her heart. They are Florence, Dinky, Pete, Toni, Patty, Judi, Debi, Bobby and Johnny. Their bond was incredible. Their love for one another was immeasurable. Her children defined her very existence. The unconceivable devotion she had toward them gave life, love, and a true sense for who they really have become today. She taught them to be kind, caring and responsible. They are her proudest accomplishments. Their names are Bradley and Heidi. Both were born in Chico at Enloe Hospital seventeen years apart. Their hearts belong to her; the one who gave them life. The one who guides them still and always will. Haedin (aka Shortcake) and Kobi (aka Peanut) are the babies of her baby. The Pride and Joy of their Grammy. The keepers of her heart forever and ever. May her spirit guide their journey. May the presence of her love never fade away. David Willey was her partner until the very end. Making her happy and showing her love was his main concern. Taking care of her with everything he had to give. Extending to her the entire portion of his heart. Taking the time to show her exactly how he feels. Never leaving her to doubt for a single moment that he would trade places with her if he could. Her sister Patty feeling as if something were missing. Something that seemed almost attached. The two of them were never separated while they were growing up. Wherever Pat was, so was Janet. This created a bond that will never end. A bond that will stand the tests of time. A piece of her heart that will never be replaced by another. I know this might sound like a story about everyone else. Although only a few were mentioned. It may seem to you as if we’re not about this amazing person. A person whom God created to walk with us for only a brief yet powerful season. One in which many lives were deeply and forever changed by just being a part of her story. But it’s not! It’s all about her. The kind of person she was and always will be. For the people who have been blessed enough to share with her the years that god has gifted us. We will be forever grateful. Thank you for the memories… You will never be forgotten! With all the love in our hearts, forever and ever! XXOO’s To anyone who has been blessed by sharing in her life story: we are inviting you to come and share with us in her memorial service to be held at Calvary Chapel in Chico, located at 1888 Springfield Drive on July 30, 2011 at 11:00 am."
