About | Robert Charles "Bob" Toole Birth: April 11, 1951, Anaconda, Montana Death: January 3, 2004, Chico, California A Memorial Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2004 at the Skyway Chapel of Sorensen's Mortuary. Robert Charles Toole, 52 of Antonito, Colorado passed away on January 3, 2004 in Chico. He was born on April 11, 1951 in Anaconda, Montana. He moved to Chico in 1957. He attended Chico High Class of 1969 and Butte College. He was a long-time businessman in Chico, working at Jack's Auto Wreckers. During his 25 years there he contributed his efforts to winning a national beautification and environmental award. He operated G.T. Enterprises for 10 years before reestablishing his business in Antonito, Colo. He was an artistic welder and enjoyed sharing his talents with others. He was a member of the Chico Elks Lodge and past Vice President of Chico Kiwanis. He was also a member of the Chico Chamber of Commerce and the Antonito Chamber of Commerce and was active in that town's beautification and tourism programs. He enjoyed the outdoor and loved animals. His survivors include his wife Gretta F. Toole of Rocklin; mother Joyce L. Toole of Anaconda, Mont.; step-sons Michael Barron of Rocklin and Michael Evans of Chico; daughters Heather Toole and Shannon Toole, both of Reno, Nev.; step-daughter Stacy McConnell of Rio Rancho , N.M.; brothers Donald Toole of Helena, Mont., James O'Toole of Chico; brother-in-law Jimmy Pinocchio of Magalia; and his twin sister Jeannette Vasquez of Port Hueneme. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Frederick W. Toole. Arrangements were under the direction of Sorensen's Mortuaries, 893-4292. |
