About | Michael was an amazing son, nephew, cousin, grandson, and brother. He passed away far too soon from brain cancer when he was 26. He is thought about regularly by his family and friends, and is forever remembered as a kind hearted, thoughtful, intelligent, gifted, and wonderful man that he grew up to become. Michael enjoyed playing the guitar, going on camping trips, swimming in the river by our family cabin, hiking, bicycling, tennis, mathematics, chess, and of course, walking the family dog Wolo, our yellow lab. He was an extremely gifted artist, both at drawing and playing the guitar. He enjoyed staying active and always had a skateboard in hand. He would win if you ever played super smash brothers, or most of the popular video games with him. Michael always knew how to make me smile and laugh, as he did with everyone. As his older sister (this is Joanie btw) he left behind many amazing memories, and wonderful stories that I have held onto for future generations. He lives on in our hearts, and in our thoughts...we have many great pictures we can look at to remind us all of him. I know that Michael is now with God, his two loving grandmothers, uncles, aunts, and cousins in heaven. It comforts me to know that he was loved by many, and is in a better place surrounded by family who can be with him now. He passed away surrounded by family and friends who loved him, and will be eternally missed. |
