About | Bordieri (Torosian), Marguerite May 30, 1921 to May 31, 2006 Marguerite, also known as Babe, Margaret, Marge and Mom, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2006. Born in Fresno, Ca. Graduated from Dinuba High School in 1939. Came to San Diego in 1942 to become an original Rosie the Riveter with Consolidated Aircraft and meet the love of her life, Paul John Bordieri. A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, she is survived by her adoring husband of 63 years, Paul, their 4 children, Paul Bordieri Jr., Barbara Hoffman, Charles (Janelle) Bordieri, and Janet (Matthew) Carroll, brother, Vartan Torosian, sister, Roselee (Don) Leone. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Cary, Corie, Jacob, Brianna, Anthony, Eriel, Chawni, and Eric, 6 great-grandchildren, Kenny, Megan, Tommy, Lexi, Ashley, and Isabelle, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her wonderful parents Garabed and Takoohi Torosian, brothers Jacob and John, and sister Virginia. Babe was an avid bowler who belonged to the Womenâ%u20AC%u2122s 200 Club and the San Diego Bowling Club. Her presence at the bowling alley will be greatly missed. She was an amazing woman who gave to everyone, expecting nothing. |
