Sh~ was the first born of se:' Sr. Children and the first grandchild of Rev. and Sis. Freddie Lloyd. Claretha a en ' · . h h fr h'ld · ccepted Christ at an early age and was active inc urc ~ma .c 1 until she passed on The family moved from Arkansas to ~erl~ng, California to pursue a better life ·1 the family moved to Chowchilla, Cahf omia where Claretha graduated from Ch ate! la High School. S~e married Bi~ly Amey, Sr. and they had one son, _Billy, Jr. 8 f 1 f c~Idied in a tragic accident when Billy Jr. was very young. After that time Clareth i r. training to work in the hospital and did so for many years. Later she met and ma ~ok Louis St. Mary and they added ~o sons to their small family, Louis Eddie and ~ed Dale Shari. One of the most tragic and hurtful events for Claretha came in 199 I h Le Dale died at the age of 13. But with much prayer and family support, she mo~den forward. During this time she bec~e caret~er for ~ean Leckie and it kept her very busy. She cared for Sean from an mfant to his 18th birthday; they remained close. Claretha loved to stay involved in the community and she was active on boards and commissions to look after the interests of her beloved Northeast Reno and Pat Baker Park. She was also a stalwart volunteer with Foster Grandparents. , Claretha was known in the community and her church as someone who would gently scold you and try to put you on the right path. She would always say, just do the right thing. She was a more of an auntie to her first cousins and also to many in the community. Of all the comments the family rece:, . d after her death , "She was so sweet," came most often. Claretha was also a self-subscribed natural L ·:r. Her friends and family would seek her advice on natural remedies for all manner Gf ailments. She would usually start with, "Do you drink Aloe? Put some Aloe on nn? Have you tried Aloe? And it went on from there. Her last miracle herb was black seed oil. She was also an avid sports fan. She loved to watch Notre Dame and The Saints. She loved roses and her favorite color was cool blue. Claretha was proceeded in death by her mother Lillie Lloyd Knott, her father, Woodrow Knott, Sr., her son Le Dale Shari St. Mary and her brother Woodrow Knott, Jr. She _leaves_ to cherish her memory her sons, William Amey, Jr. (Chris)_ Frankfort, 1 KY, Louis Eddie St. Mary (Dena) Reno, NV, Siblings: Lureca Knott of Pans, TX, Car Knott ( Rosie) of Fontana, CA, Charles Knott (Janie) of Merced, CA, Dale Kno~ert (Sherry) of Fresno, CA, Danny Knott (Rhonda) of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Ro Knott of Pine Bluff, AR. Her bonus siblings are Joanie Segar of Reno, NY, Jerome Segar of Reno, NV, and Carmen Segar of Conway, AR. andchildren Claretha was loved beyond measure by her 13 grandchildren, ten great gr h d a friend and many nieces and nephews aunts and uncles and her cousins.
