| About | David Ross Flynn FLYNN, David Ross Age 61, from Sacramento, Calif., has past away on October 27, 2008, from cancer. David was born April 16, 1947, in Hurlong, Nev., to Leonard and Helen Flynn. Graduated from Sierra Collage 1968 with three degrees, Business, Automotive, and Police Science. David spent seven years in the military, serving in both the National Guard and Army Reserve. He then married Olyvia Flynn on May 6, 1972. David was the father of three children Linda (with two daughters, Dawn and Jessica), Denise (with two daughters, Breanna and Shantel, and one son Jaziah), and David (with Daughter Josie and Son Talon). He worked for Regional Transit for 28 years as the Maintenance Supervisor. David was a devote Christian becoming so at the age of seven. In that time he spent 35 years as a Sunday school teacher. David also supported his wife throughout the years who led several Youth Evangelistic choirs that performed all over California by setting up and running the sound systems. David became a SCUBA dive master as he enjoyed the ocean. He was also an avid bowler. Known as the family MacGyver, David always had whatever you needed to fix something in his pocket along with the tools. David was a quiet but loving man.
