| About | Ralph Mitchell Bernal Ralph Mitchell Bernal, born July 16, 1950, was called to Heaven on Feb. 18, 2016 in Caldwell, Idaho, at the age of 65. He was the son of the late Joe and Bunny Bernal. Dear husband, father, father-in-law, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Mitch was born and raised in Herlong, California. He married Helen Ilene Fulenwider June 26, 1971. He has one son, Bryan, born June 8, 1982. Mitch served an impressive career as a law enforcement officer for 38 years. Ten years in Calaveras County, California and 28 years at the Denver Sheriff’s Department in Denver, Colorado. Mitch and Ilene moved to Caldwell, Idaho in September 2014 where he realized his lifelong dream of becoming a “gentleman rancher,” as he liked to say. He is survived by his wife, Ilene; son, Bryan; daughter-in-law, Kristin; his sisters Pam (David) Crandall, Peggy (Alan) Sonntag, father-in-law Edward Fulenwider, brother-in-laws, David (Dawn) Fulenwider, Karl (Debra) Fulenwider, sister-in-law Marlaine (Robert) Rielly. Services were held in Caldwell, Idaho, on Feb. 24. |
