Christopher James Radanovich Obituary

Graduation Year Class of 2006
Date of Passing Dec 25, 2008
About My beautiful son, Christopher lost his life at the age of 21, on Christmas day 2008 in a tragic solo car accident on an icy road on his way home. Christopher, is my gentle giant. A handsome young man 6'4". The most loving, compassionate and influential soul. He was very proud to be a "Mama's boy" He is a son, brother, grandson, nephew,
uncle and friend. Christopher knew no strangers, he was a friend to all, always there to help,
talk, listen and most of all comfort. He was an athlete, playing soccer since he was 5 years old, but his love was basketball. Since his passing, Mariposa High School has honoured his memory by retiring his basketball jersey, which now hangs in the halls of the School. He had a very strong sense of
family, being the 3rd child out of 4. With 2 older sisters and 1 younger brother, Christopher
always was the peace keeper. He seemed to take on the roll of older brother, looking out for them all, including me.
Loosing Christopher was devistating to us all, and celebrating Christmas since then has been very challenging. His sisters, Brandi, Stephani, brother, Joe and myself have decided not be be lost on
Christmas day with the pain of losing him. But, to celebrate the beautiful time we had with him and share the memories of what an amazing person he was. And the most important, we have to believe in things we can't see and be thankful for the amazing angel he now is, who watches over all of us left behind until we can see him once again.
I love you Christopher James, Mom
