AIMEE CROSSAN PENISTON DE CORDOVA, 75, of New York City, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013. She was the loving Mother of Eric Winchester "Win" Peniston of New York City and Grandmother of Win's Daughters, Olivia (16) and Daphne Peniston (14) Larchmont, New York, as well as New York City. She is survived by her Sister, Jeanne Crossan Robinson, of Oakland and Carmel, CA. Aimee was born in Oakland, CA on May 11, 1938, to Edward and Joan Crossan of Piedmont, CA. She went to Piedmont High school and the University of California at Berkeley where she was a Pi Phi. She married Eric Walker Peniston in New York, in 1964 and lived in New York City and Long Island (Bridgehampton, followed by Quogue) ever since. During this time she was a successful freelance interior designer. Her son, Win, was born in 1967. After her divorce from Eric Peniston, she married Eustace "Eusty" De Cordova (deceased) of De Cordova-Cooper, a specialist firm on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. She and Eusty were married in 1975. She was active in the Colony Club and was a talented fundraiser. Aimee will be missed by her adoring family and friends. |
