About CHARLES RAYMOND HARDY
Born July 24, 1961 passed away at his home January 5, 2010, surrounded by family and friends who dearly loved and cared for him. Chuck, as he was so fondly called, was born to William R. Hardy and Gloria M. (Castignasso) Paul. He is husband of ChiKay G Hardy, and father to Loren K Hardy age 18 and to Kendal G Hardy age 14. He is survived by his brother Bert Adams of Washington; mother and father-in-law, Janet and Douglas Franklin of Sonoma. He is also survived by nine brothers and sister-in-laws; 12 nieces and nephews; and nine great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, father-in-law, brother and sister-in-law, and his son Kirby Hardy who was killed in an auto accident in 2007. Chuck was born in Santa Rosa and loved living in Sonoma County. He graduated from Piner High School in 1979. He attended college at SRJC but Chuck was a self taught man. He loved technology and he began building computers 16 years ago. He was employed by the County of Sonoma for the past 13 years as an Information Technologist II. Chuck had many hobbies including bike riding, reading and photography. He loved his family and friends. They were the most important to him. He was a man with a huge heart who always tried to do what was right. He had a solid understanding of his beliefs and he loved his Heavenly Father. He will be sorely missed by all.
