About |
Peacefully passed at the San Diego VA Medical Center ten days after his 35th birthday of Stage 4 liver disease. He served honorably in the US Navy for 14 years as a Gunners' Mate. He was highly respected by his fellow Navy brothers and sisters as well as his superior officers. His ashes were scattered off the California coast as per his last wishes. As a Ranger, Carlos was in Chamber Singers, played in the Ranger Band Drumline, and enjoyed drawing and video gaming. Later, at COS he pursued a fire-fighting career and worked for the California Department of Forestry before enlisting in the Navy in January 2004. He will always be in our hearts. |
