GRASS VALLEY, April 2, 1998 (UPI) - Nevada County authorities are reporting an apparent double murder and suicide at the home of a prominent Grass Valley businesswoman. Assistant Sheriff John Trauner says 34-year-old Noreen Cole discovered her 13- and 11-year-old sons and their father, 44-year-old Bob Cole, dead of gunshot wounds yesterday. The couple had recently separated and Cole and her daughter were living with a friend. I miss you Bob. You were a good person and friend. Bob's son's names were Robert, Jr. (13) and Samuel (11). |
