David Armstrong (1945-2025) was a Buddhist practitioner, engaged community member, and long-time volunteer on the Manitou Springs Planning Commission. Armstrong graduated from Yale University in 1967 and attended Colorado College for his teaching credential. A self-employed architect, he was a champion for affordable housing in his community. The grandson of Willis R. Armstrong, David comes from a long line of Colorado College advocates and always supported community mindedness, intellectual vigor, and creativity. |
