| About | To my friends and Sheridan classmates of “’79â€, It’s hard to believe that it’s been six years since “Didi†lost her battle with cancer. Most days it seems like a long time ago, and these are filled with warm memories…other days are not so good. Fortunately time does heal, and I now spend life as you do keeping up with work, family and friends. Unfortunately there are many others who are living my past today. Their loss and heartache I know too well, and with each one I yearn to help. It is in this spirit that the Diane Dawson Foundation www.dawsonfoundation.com was created and continues today. We have raised over $130,000, and have awarded $40,000 in scholarships and family assistance grants. This year is no exception; we will soon conclude our 2009 scholarship selection process and will awarded scholarships to deserving Colorado and California recipients. We will be honored to present these scholarships at our upcoming Fall events. To all of you who have supported us the past five years, I wanted to offer my sincere appreciation; we couldn’t have reached our goals without you!
