About | Phyllis Lucille Workman-Snow died July 8, 2000, at her home in Steamboat Springs. She was 57. Phyllis was born July 7, 1943, in Fort Riley, Kan., to Lloyd R. and F. Lorene (Miles) Workman. They moved to Steamboat Springs in 1945, where she completed high school in 1961. During her life, Phyllis lived in Colorado, Arizona, Utah and California. She worked as a draper, baker, nurse’s aide, cashier, and at various other jobs, including her favorite job at the Saddle Tree Co. in Vernal, Utah. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Richard, of Steamboat Springs; her mother, Lorene Workman of Steamboat Springs; a daughter Deborah of Salt Lake City; three sons, David, Thomas, and Matthew, all of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Leland of Silverthorne. Her father preceded her in death. |
