Susan M. Diemente of Lakeville, MA, formerly of Quincy, MA passed away recently surrounded by her family after a valiant fight with a lengthy illness on July 23. She was born in New Britain, CT on September 22, 1950 and was the daughter of Mary (Catucci) Diemente of Lakeville, MA and the late Joseph M. Diemente. Besides her mother, she leaves: her sister, Donna A. (Diemente) Friedman and her brother in law, Robert I. Friedman, MD of Lakeville, MA a brother, Philip J. Diemente of New Britain, CT; her nephews, Eric E. Friedman of Baltimore. MD and Marc A. Friedman of Arlington, MA. Susan graduated from New Britain High School, Class of 1968 and studied Business Administration at the Greater Hartford Community College and had a long career in the Insurance Industry. Her last position was Excess Casualty Manager for Kemper Ins. She was a Certified Property & Casualty Underwriter, a Licensed Insurance Advisor, a Licensed Insurance Broker, an Authorized Risk Manager, a Notary Public & Real Estate Agent. Susan devoted herself to her entire extended family and legions of friends. Her loves included children, traveling, sports and the sea. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 11:30 AM at New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., NEW BRITIAN, CT. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects on Wednesday, morning from 10:30 AM till the time of service at New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, CT.
