| About | Katie Lynn Paige, age 24 of Stratford and Milford, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 8, 2012. Katie was born on June 6, 1987 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She was the fiancé of Richard Joseph DellaVentura of Stratford and the proud and loving mom of their 19 month old son Richard Michael DellaVentura. Kate was the daughter of Gary and Johanna Paige Sr. of Milford and Sophie Nimeth. Kate was a graduate of Platt Tech for hairdressing in Milford and was employed at the internet store, Game Etc. and Shop and Shop in Stratford. She enjoyed drawing and writing in her spare time, and was very self-sufficient being able to fix and repair anything, including cars. Katie had a unique laugh that was contagious and very recognizable the minute you heard her. She lit up a room with her warm, loving and fun-spirited personality. Katie also enjoyed playing her bass guitar, cleaning, sewing, and art. Her biggest passion in life was being a Mom. In addition to her parents she is survived by two brothers, Gary W. Paige, Jr. and his wife Kelly, and their three children and Diego M. Paige of Milford, her maternal grandmother, Sophie Nimeth, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother and best friend, Michael Christopher Paige. A Mass of Christian Burial (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH) will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel’s Church, 26 Broadway, Milford, CT. Interment to follow at King’s Highway Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Friday, January, 13th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richard DellaVentura Education Fund, c/o your local Milford Bank. |
