| Events | Eric Albert Weidner passed away on August 29th 2021. After a short fight with Cancer. Eric died surrounded by his 4 children. Ian Weidner Laura Flynt, Allisyn Weidner, Maggi Grisby, and his wife Julie Mason. Eric grew up in Wilton Connecticut, He graduated from Wilton High School in 1975. He achieved the highest honor in scouting, Eagle scout. He attended the World Jamboree, the National Jamboree, went to Philmont. he went camping every month while he was in scouting. Eric attended The Citadel and Simpson College. Eric was also in the Army and earned an E-4 classification. Eric moved around a lot, but finally ended up in Pleasantville, Iowa. Eric leaves behind 4 children, 9 grandchildren his brother, Rick A Weidner, and 2 sisters Melis Weidner White, and Mai Weidner. He is proceeded in death by his mother and father, Virgil and Minerva Weidner. Eric had a wonderful sense of humor and was liked by all. Eric was able to brighten a room with his smile and kindness. I will sorely miss my brother Eric. He taught me a great deal about life, and I will cherish all the memories that we shared. I am especially grateful that he shared the love of music with me. He passed along a deep appreciation of Pink Floyd, ELO, David Bowie and many more. My dear brother, may you soar with the angels and may God's love be with you. Always and forever.
