Christopher Scott Pringle Obituary

Graduation Year Class of 1980
Date of Passing Nov 25, 2014
About Christopher Scott Pringle, age 52, formerly of Vero Beach, FL, passed away suddenly after suffering a pulmonary embolism on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Scott was born in Kalamazoo, MI on June 14, 1962 to Allan and Mary Lynne Lawniczak Pringle. He graduated from Miami Lakes High School and went on to attend Florida State University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Special Education.

Scott dedicated his heart to his beautiful wife of 20 years, Tara D’Agosto Pringle. Together in life, they traveled, explored, lived, laughed and cried…they made memories.

In 2012, Scott and Tara relocated their main home to Dubai so as to be closer to their newest adventure and career working on Kandahar Air Field inside Kandahar, Afghanistan. Scott took an Administrator position within a hospital working for TMH Medical while Tara was there beside him working as Director of TMH Medevac. During his time in Afghanistan, Scott bonded with his many co-workers, was well respected and well-liked by all. He had the ability to talk to anyone about anything at any time.

Scott had a quick sense of humor. He devoted a lot of energy to staying abreast of the latest technical and scientific advancements enabling him to cite chapter and verse on any of these subjects. We learned a lot from him. His loss has left a tremendous hole in the hearts of the many that loved him.

Scott was a loving and thoughtful son to his parents, Allan and Mary Lynne Pringle.

Scott was a great brother and loved dearly by his siblings, twin sister Kateri and her husband Joe Karish, and brothers Kevin and his wife Debbie Pringle and Jon and his wife Patty Pringle.

Scott married into a family who loved him as their own, Aunts and Uncles Linda and Scott Richardson, Terry and John Trautman, Jo-Ann and Paul Berg and late father-in-law John D’Agosto and grandparents Alfonso and Florence D'Agosto.

Scott also had several nieces, nephews, and cousins he loved dearly.

Scott always lived life to the fullest. He was a HAM radio operator, mountain bike enthusiast, and an avid surfer, even after a shark attack, Scott returned to the waves to surf again.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Helen’s Catholic Church at 2pm in Vero Beach, FL on Friday, December 12, 2014 with reception/visitation to follow at Strunk Funeral Home from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Indian River County.
