Daniel Bruce Young, 56, of Pisgah Forest, NC, and formerly of Venice died January 12, 2004. He was born Dec. 18, 1947, in Cincinnati. He was a long time resident of Venice, where he was a writer at the Venice Gondolier, a local musician, and a children’s baseball coach. He moved to North Carolina n 1992. He was a Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Sandy; a son, Jeff of Venice; his mother, Carol of Brevard, NC; brothers Rod of Naples, Barry of Brevard, and Michael of Hartville, Ohio; stepsons Duane Frickel and Terry Sides, both of Hendersonville, NC; a stepdaughter, Angie Sides of Sarasota; and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Sarasota County, Inc., 2331 15th St. Sarasota, FL 34237. |
