| About | Stephens, Delcie Anita Feb. 22, 1947 - Nov. 16, 2014 Delcie Anita Stephens (Bass) of Sarasota passed peacefully on Nov. 16, 2014, surrounded by her family. Born Feb. 22, 1947 in Madison, FL, she was the granddaughter of Ephfrom Carvel Bass and Edna Fair Kelly. Delcie is survived by sons, Gary, Michael, and Andrew; sister, Nona; grandchildren, Faith Ann and Alexander; niece, Stephanie; daughter-in-laws, Kelly and Elizabeth; former spouse, Kenneth; and dogs, Penny and Bear. A veteran nurse, Delcie enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, and antiquing. She is remembered for her laugh, kindness, hospitality, and love for family. A celebration of life will be held 4:30pm on Friday, Nov. 28, at Sarasota Outboard Club, 1604 Ken Thompson Pkwy in Sarasota.
