Julie married and moved to Washington State for several years, then moved to Plano in 1976. Julie was in the Mortgage Industry for many years. Her family remembers her as caring and loving to people and animals. Julie was a troop leader for her daughters Girl Scout troop for many years. She loved doing ceramics and sewing, making many costumes for her daughter, granddaughter, and friends over the years. Julie is survived by her daughter, Amanda Shewbrooks and husband Ty Cooper; Grandchildren, Sophie, Jakob and Ty Cooper, Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Hazel Leigh; brother, Douglas Leigh and sister, Betty Elliott. |
