About | Mr. James ‘Jimmy’ Thompson, age 59, of Douglasville, GA passed away Friday, December 24, 2010. He was born January 9, 1951 in New Castle, England. He was also preceded in death by his brother Michael Thompson. Mr. Thompson was the owner of his own CPA firm, Thompson and Company. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Douglasville. He is survived by his wife, Susan Thompson; son and daughter-in-law, Kevan and Eydie Thompson; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Jeremy Freund, Katherine ‘Lindsey’ and Klaus Hoellbacher; grandchildren, Katie Thompson, Bailey James Thompson, Madelyn Freund, Ethan James Freund; father, James and Ellen Thompson; mother, Pat Vera; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Dorothy Thompson; sister-in-law, Debbie V. Myers; nephews, Brad Myers, Davis Myers, Evan Myers; great-nephew, Grayson Myers. The memorial service will be Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church of Douglasville with Rev. Max Caylor officiating. The family will receive friends at their home after the service.
