About Penny Taylor, 51, died at her home in Snowflake, surrounded by her family, on Monday, Nov. 17, 2008. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hagerman Chapel in Hagerman, Idaho, with a visitation one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at the Hagerman Cemetery.
Penny was born July 28, 1957, in Ogden, Utah, to Robert and Lila (Montgomery) Clements. She moved to Hagerman when she was 5.
In 1974 she met and married the love of her life, Harold Lee Taylor. In 2000, they moved from Hager-man to Snowflake.
She was very proud of her children’s accomplishments and the lives they have lived.
She enjoyed watching the horses and counting airplanes as they flew by at night.
Penny was a loving mother and grandmother to all. She was a compassionate person who never met a stranger.
Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Harold Lee Taylor of Snowflake; one son, William (Donna) Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Vesta (John) Rogers and Nina (Josh Piersol), both of the Taylor-Snowflake area; eight grandchildren, Thesea, Zack, Ann, Lindy, Hunter, Max, Rafe and Lila; her mother, Lila Clements of Hagerman; two brothers, Kenny (Pam) Clements of Washington and Robert Clements of Hagerman; two sisters, Eileen (Dick) Davis and Wanda Fabela both of Hagerman; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Clements; her niece, Tammy Sue Hamilton; and her great-nephew, Gregory Jay Jr.
Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake is in charge of the arrangements.
