About Pocatello-Keith Thomas Honas, 45, passed away at his home on August 18, 2011. He was the middle son born to Donald & Vicki Honas on December 31, 1965,

Keith lived in Pocatello his entire life. He attended Alameda Jr, High where he found his love for football.

He continued to play football at Highland High School where he met the love of his life, Cathy Ost. Keith and Cathy were married on December 23, 1983.

In 1984, Keith graduated from Highland High School. Keith and Cathy had two sons together, Mathew and Jordan. Keith adored his boys and dedicated his life to being a good father. They were his greatest treasure.

Keith loved the outdoors. He was an avid motorcycle rider and also enjoyed camping and fishing with his sons. Keith truly loved being a grandpa. Coaching sports was one of Keith's biggest passions. He coached both his sons in baseball and football throughout their youth.

Keith was a man of many trades. He was a mechanic for several years and worked side by side with his brother, Steve at Custom Auto Repair.

Keith is survived by his dad, Don Honas; brother, Steve (Judy) Honas; 2 sons, Matt (Nikki) Honas and Jordan Honas; 3 grandchildren, Nalani, Garret , Tayson Honas; nieces and nephews, Christa Honas, Josh Honas, Bobby McCreery, Jesse Leigh, Mike Leigh.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Vicki Honas; brother, Craig Honas; grandma, Lou Thomas "Nana"; grandma and grandpa, Tina and Joe Honas.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Spirit St. Anthony Church (504 N. 7th Ave. ).

There will be a Prayer Service on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. following the Prayer Service the family will receive friends until 9:00 p.m.

Interment will be Friday August 26, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in Mountainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
