About | Challis - Funeral services for Janice Call Warren, 31, Challis, were held at the Jones Funeral Home, Salmon, Tuesday with Father Palmer Wylde of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer officiating. Mrs. Warren died suddenly Friday, September 3, 1971 at her home in Challis. Janice Call Warren was born Sunday, October 8, 1939 in Salmon, the daughter of A. Kenneth and Gladys Webb Call. The was graduated from Salmon High School in 1958 and attended business school in Pocatello. On Friday, October 21, 1960, she was married to Sam Warren at the Presbyterian Church in Salmon. They lived in Nevada where he was employed with the Forest Service. They transferred to Challis in September, 1969. She was a member of the Episcopal Church in Minden, Nevada. Survivors include her widower, Sam; a son, David, Challis; mother, Gladys Swanson, Salmon; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Vet (Mamie) Bartlett, Salmon; brothers, Bill, Salmon; Calvin, Bishop, Ca.; Dave, Los Angeles, and Loren serving in Okinawa; sisters, Margaret Rytlewski, Arlington, Va., and Kathryn Gunning, Arco. Entered into eternal rest, Friday, September 9, 1971 in the Salmon Cemetery. |
