About | Funeral services for Leroice Ann Rinker, 49, were held at the Jones & Casey Funeral Home on Monday, August 19, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wilford Keele officiating. Mrs. Rinker died August 16, 1988 at her home following a lingering illness. She was born March 31, 1939 in San Francisco, California, a daughter of Elbert and Ardellia M. Lund Wheeler. The family moved to Salmon when she was three years old. She received her schooling in Salmon. On Monday, March 28, 1955, she married Robert Rinker in Anaconda, Montana. They moved to Salmon in 1961. Ann had worked as a waitress from 1967 through 1988 at Wally’s and Johnny B’s Restaurants. She was active in bowling for many years. For the past three months, she had been in poor health. She is survived by her husband, Robert Rinker of Salmon, two sons, Robert Wayne Rinker and Ricky Dean Rinker of Salmon; one daughter, Sandra Dee Arbitin of Salmon and six grandchildren; one sister, Clara Christianson and two brothers, John Bohannon and Ray Bohannon all of Crescent City, Ca., one brother, Melvin Wheeler of Missoula, Mt., and three sisters, Berta Rinker, Joyce Smith and Helen Darrah all of Salmon. Mickey Tewalt sang “One Day at a Time” and “Until Then.” Pallbearers were Vance Marvin, LeRoy Fayle, Curtis Fayle, Bob Mathews, John Duke and Terry Adams. Burial took place in the Salmon Cemetery under the direction of Jones & Casey Funeral Home |
