About | Wanda Loy McArthur, 62, of Uniontown, Wash., died on Thursday, July 11, 2002, at her Uniontown home. Wanda was born January 27, 1940 at Salmon, Idaho to Adrian E. and Grace A. Blood. She grew up at Salmon and attended school there. Wanda married Vernon McArthur and made Salmon their home, later moving to Colorado. They were later divorced. Wanda worked as a cook and bartender for 20 years. She has spent the last 10 years working as a home health care giver in the Pullman-Uniontown area. She liked many different things, including camping, gardening, horseback riding, yard sales and bottle collecting. Wanda was a family oriented person who enjoyed many special times with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Rance and Cindy McArthur of Lewiston, and Allen and Shannon McArthur of Uniontown; two daughters, Penny Taufen and Debbie McArthur, of Uniontown; one brother, Adrian Blood, of Benton, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Wanda also is survived by her ex-husband and his wife, Vernon and Karen McArthur of Victor, Mont.; and special friends Rowena Harrington, Mary Williams and Tony Masson. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, at Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman, Wash. Memorials are suggested to a boys or girls club of your choice, or to a favorite charity.
