| About | Barry Wayne Peck, age 72, of Chillicothe, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023 at his home. Barry was born on June 13, 1951 in Peoria, IL to late Wayne H. and Helen C. (Snyder) Peck. He married Linda H. Peck on April 21, 1976 in Chillicothe. She preceded him in death on December 14, 2020. Surviving are his sons, Anton (Julie) Peck of East Peoria, IL and Jason (Stephanie) Peck of Fayetteville, GA; three grandchildren, Jesse and Sabrina Peck of East Peoria, IL and Hollis Peck of Fayetteville, GA; and his sister, Jan Anderson of Silver City, NM. Barry graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1970 and is retired from Caterpillar. He also was a member of the UAW. He was a jack of all trades and would always look for alternate ways to solve a problem. Barry was a member of Chillicothe First United Methodist Church. He was also active in the Boy Scouts, enjoyed watching his grand children grow, and enjoy good company and conversation. Even though Barry couldnt travel, he loved living vicariously through his children. He was a kind caring man that would do whatever he could to help someone out. His listening skills were good, and he loved brain storming to find alternate solutions to problems. He enjoyed sitting in his chair watching the news and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Barry had a soft heart for animals and especially loved his pets. |
