About | Kelly was hit by a drunk driver near Elkhorn, WI. Kelly was not at fault and was killed instantly. He was a father to 5, ages 21-9 and pursuing a career as a chef (and he was an awesome one at that!) :) As you may remember, Kelly's motto was "Love & Laughs." He shared many fond memories of his MCHS classmates, including football days, working on the school newspaper, and of course, talent show laughs (The Four Seasons!), among many others. Kelly and I had dated his senior year, and we reunited in early 2011. If anyone would like to remember Kelly, talk about him, or contact his family, feel free to contact me if you would like. The final words of his graduation speech as Class President for 1989 are so like him - and so applicable now. He said, "It was our spirit that kept my classmates and me going throughout our high school careers, our spirit that will keep us going throughout the rest of our lives, and our spirit - the human spirit - that will live on long after we ourselves have long since passed." With love, Kelly. So many of us will always remember your easy laugh, contagious smile, and kind, kind heart. |
