About | If you knew Bradley Michael Williams, you were lucky. He lived an exciting life. One filled with love, friends, family and endless adventure. Brad, 53, of Moline, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 after living out one his biggest dreams: witnessing the speed trials at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. Visitation will be held 4-7PM Tuesday, August 22 at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111 1ST St A, Moline. In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorials be made to QC Paws Animal Shelter or the Boys’ and Girls’ Club of the Quad Cities. We also ask guests to bring old photos and memories, as we know there are plenty to be shared. We know that if Brad were with us today, he would have one last wish – that his life be celebrated in real BMW fashion - with a party at the Wunder Y (2316 16th Street, Moline) following his visitation. Brad was many things in life: the President of Williams National Surety Corporation, beloved boss, father of three, world-traveler, incredible chef, repetitive bad joke teller, martini lover, and the world’s greatest friend. He was the life of every party and never turned down the opportunity to help out a friend in need. His compassion was endless and his humor infectious. You always knew when he was up to no good, which was often, by the mysterious twinkle in his eye. Brad was born on June 12, 1964 in Moline, the son of Gary and Rosemary (Fanning) Williams. He married Cathy Clarke on December 29, 1990. Survivors include his three children, Caroline, Claudia, and Brandon Williams; girlfriend, Erin Moore; father Gary and step-mother Holly Williams; half-brother, Michael Dergo; step-brother Karl Adams, and his beloved dog, The Duke. He was preceded in death by his mother. To the world’s finest dad, son, brother and friend….your legacy will last forever. |
