About | MOLINE-Jean Watson, 57 of Moline, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2021 after a brave battle with cancer. She died at home with her daughters by her side. Jean was born on April 22, 1964, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Lyle and Margaret (Steiner) Ossian. She graduated from Moline High School in 1982 and attended Arizona State University. She married Joe Watson in 1987, moved to Arizona, and together had two daughters. Jean worked for America West Airlines while in Arizona and later for Sherwin Williams when her family moved to Quincy, Illinois. She recently lived in Port Byron, Illinois. If there is anything to remember about Jean, it was her smile, laugh, and sense of humor. Anyone who knows her can testify that Jean was outgoing, caring, compassionate, and loved her family dearly. Some of her greatest memories were when the five Ossian kids and their families got together. (We are the funniest people we know...) She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Watson, San Diego, California, and Haley Watson, Scottsdale, Arizona; brothers, Paul Ossian (Jan), Moline, and Jon Ossian (Kerry), Moline, and sisters, Leslie (Russ) Kooken, Moline, and Vicki Poutre, Phoenix, Arizona, seven nieces and three nephews, one great niece and nephew, aunts, an uncle, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. |
