| About | Karen S. DeCrane, 52, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Thursday, February 11, 2016, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois. A memorial mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Coal Valley. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory, Moline. Private burial will be in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Atkinson, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Trimble Funeral Home, Coal Valley, is serving the family. Karen Sue DeCrane was born February 11, 1964, in Rock Island, the daughter of Charles and Charmaine (Adams) DeCrane. She worked at the Moline Walmart for18 years. Karen was a very caring and giving woman who always tried to please other people. She loved spending time with her family and her many dogs over the years. She is survived by her parents, Charmaine and Charles DeCrane of Coal Valley; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Byron Otto of Blue Grass, Iowa; a brother, Jonathan DeCrane of Coal Valley; and a special friend, Tracy Nagel of Preemption, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. |
