Tom passed away at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville after a brief battle with the COVID-19 virus. Tom was the devoted husband of 30 years to the late Susan Suchsland (nee Ringelstein); and the beloved and respected father of their two cherished sons, Kyle and Ryan. Tom, along with his brother Robert, started and successfully managed Lake County Medical Gas for over 27 years. After selling his business he retired and spent 5 years at home with his family. He then went to work for the Rust-Oleum Corporation and was their Vernon Hills Facilities Manager at the time of his death. He was an active volunteer for the Vernon Hills Summer Celebration festivals. He had fond memories of the many years he played on the LCMG softball team while raising their children. He loved attending his children's baseball games, many school functions and college graduations. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs sports fan and loved playing cards, bowled in a few leagues and had fun participating in various other activities with his dear friends and family. He truly was a friend of many, all of whom will miss him dearly. |
