Cheryl Ann Kuehne, Ph.D. 1953 ~ 2006 Cheryl Ann Kuehne, Ph.D., 52, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday, January 28, 2006 after a most graceful and courageous struggle with ALS. Cheryl was born to Kenneth and Marlene Kuehne in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on November 27, 1953. She graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Psychology and completed her Master's and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at the University of Utah. Cheryl was employed by Intermountain Healthcare and practiced for many years as a Child Psychologist at Primary Children's Medical Center. She completed her career as the Director of the Psychology Training Program at PCMC and as a Psychologist for the Primary Care Integration Program at Memorial Clinic. Cheryl is survived and will be dearly missed by her husband, Mark Latkowski, her beloved son Michael Latkowski, both of Salt Lake City, her mother, Marlene of Naperville, Illinois, her brother Michael (Maureen) of Naperville, Illinois, and her sister Kristin Hill (Jason) of Draper, Utah. In addition, Cheryl had four nephews (Ryan, David, Jeff and Sean) and three nieces (Kimberlie, Madison and Bergan) who she cherished and adored. Her father, Kenneth Kuehne, preceded Cheryl in death. The entire family would like to share their most heartfelt and profound thanks to all of the health care providers, friends, and neighbors too numerous to name individually who participated in Cheryl's care. In lieu of flowers we would like to request that you make a donation in Cheryl's name to Intermountain Hospice, 2250 S. 1300 W., Salt Lake City, UT 84119. A memorial will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2006 at the First Unitarian Church, 569 S. 1300 E. in Salt Lake City. Funeral Directors, Garner Funeral Home.
