About | Donald James Kuhrt Donald James Kuhrt of Naperville A Mass of Christian Burial for Donald James Kuhrt, 49, will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville. Born Nov. 14, 1952, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Interment will be private. Donald was a graduate of Sts. Peter and Paul School and Naperville Central High School, Class of 1970. He attended Oklahoma State Culinary Arts School and was employed as a chef at Amoco Oil and the Marriott Corporation/Hyatt Hotels. Surviving are his mother, Frances Kuhrt of Naperville; brothers Edward (Mary Beth) Kuhrt of Naperville, Philip (Linda) Kuhrt of Naperville and Andrew (Amy Beth) Kuhrt of Sandwich; sisters, Mary Frances (Stanley) Kuntaras of LaGrange Park and Lynda (Christopher) Roy of Naperville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Kuhrt, and brother Robert Kuhrt. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Friedrich- Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sts. Peter and Paul Church Steeple Fund, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, IL 60540, would be appreciated.
