| About | John F. Lindsey III John F. Lindsey III of Lisle for 28 years Services for John F. Lindsey III, 51, will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., and will proceed to St. Joan of Arc Church, Kingston and Front Sts., Lisle, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Born April 15, 1953, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at Hinsdale Hospital, Hinsdale. John grew up in Naperville and attended SS. Peter & Paul Grade School and St. Raphael Grade School and was a 1971 graduate of Naperville Central High School. John worked in the telecommunications industry for many years and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Lisle. A train enthusiast, he was a member of the Model Railroad Association and was also an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and boating. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo (nee Saul) Lindsey of Lisle, whom he married on April 30, 1977; children, Gregory (Julie) Lindsey of Aurora, John Matthew Lindsey, Erin Lindsey and Mark Lindsey, all of Lisle; siblings, Frank (Carol) Lindsey of Naperville, Marya (Steve) Biesendorfer of Arvada, Colo., Chris (Maureen) Lindsey of San Diego, Cathy (Jeff) Nagel of Glen Ellyn, Laura (Jeff) Sniegnowski of Plainfield and Mark (Shelly) Lindsey of Naperville; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. Jr. and Nancy (nee Condren) Lindsey.
