| About | Kathleen Schimpf Obituary Schimpf, Kathleen L. 57, of Yorkville, IL passed away Monday, August 1, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 15, 1953 in Naperville, IL, the daughter of James and Jeanette (Kelsch) Devaney. She married Frank Schimpf on May 9, 1981 in Naperville, IL. She was formerly employed by AT&T in Warrenville, IL and most recently Weis Real Estate in Oswego. She is survived by her husband, Frank of Yorkville; two daughters, Lisa Schimpf and Lindsay Schimpf both of DeKalb; one son, Joseph Schimpf of Yorkville; one brother, John Robert Devaney of Warrenville; one sister, Kris Smith of Yorkville, IL and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael Devaney. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 5, 2011 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 27 S. Edgelawn Dr. in Aurora, IL with Pastor Patricia Geiseman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the church. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Memorial Hospital.
